Finding our North Star
While I, Georgie, grew up in England and my husband Sebastian in Argentina, it’s safe to say the stars needed to be perfectly aligned for us to discover Constellation Creek. Lucky for us they were.
Thousands of miles away from both of our homes, from the moment we walked onto the land, it was simply meant to be. We’d dreamt for years of owning a place that married our passion for travel and the outdoors, with our love of gathering friends and family.
It took a move from Venice Beach to Tahoe in 2017, on little more than a whim, to finally find our North Star. Just like many wanderers since the 1950s had done before us, we happened on what was then Canyon Ranch Resort. That day in 2019 we stepped onto the property and couldn’t bear to leave. So we didn’t.
Instead we booked a cabin, sat out on the deck, looked up at the starry night sky and fell in love.
We saw three shooting stars that night, made a wish and soon after Constellation Creek was born.
